ConnectOnCall and Phreesia Agree to $4.95M Data Breach Settlement
ConnectOnCall and Phreesia have agreed to a $4.95 million settlement following allegations that a 2024 security incident exposed sensitive patient information.
According to the official court filing for In re: ConnectOnCall.com Data Breach Litigation, the incident occurred between Feb. 16 and May 12, 2024.
The compromise impacted ConnectOnCall, an after-hours medical answering service, alongside patient intake platform Phreesia.
While neither company has admitted any wrongdoing, both parties agreed to fund the settlement to resolve the claims out of court.
If your personal or medical data was affected during the breach window, you may be eligible to submit a claim for compensation.
Class members can claim up to two years of CyEx Medical Shield Complete dark web and medical data monitoring, valued at $360.
Individuals who suffered documented financial losses resulting from the breach can submit claims for up to $5,000 in reimbursement.
Those without documented monetary losses are still eligible to receive a smaller pro-rata cash payment of up to $75.
To receive any of these cash benefits or protection services, eligible individuals must file a valid claim form by Nov. 2, 2026.
If you wish to exclude yourself from the settlement or object to its terms, you must submit your paperwork by Oct. 19, 2026.
The court will review all submitted materials and hold a final approval hearing on Nov. 17, 2026.
